EXAM COURSES
EXAM COURSES AVAILABLE
We are an official Trinity SELT Exam Preparation Centre
and also an official Trinity speaking and listening exam centre
so you can take the Trinity speaking and listening exams
here at the Academy.
We can also prepare you for the Life in the UK test.
We offer 15-week courses for IELTS exam preparation.
You will attend twice a week for two hour classes.
You will work in small groups of 4 – 16 people with a fully experienced and knowledgeable ESOL tutor.
Exam course requirements:

Assessment prior to joining or a relevant exam certificate to show your current level of ability

TRINITY SPEAKING AND
LISTENING EXAMS OR
IN-CLASS TESTING OF ALL
SKILLS AREAS
WILL BE OFFERED AT THE END OF
EACH SEMESTER
We organise Trinity speaking and listening exams via Zoom
or conduct in-class testing in all skills areas
at the Academy at the end of each semester
to every learner who wishes to take one
IELTS for B2/C1 learners
This course is at Upper Intermediate/Advanced level.
Exams included are reading, writing, speaking, listening and use of English (grammar).
This qualification is internationally recognised and accepted by employers, further and higher education providers
and is also useful for preparation for university.
Costs:
OPTION 1: £550 includes course book
Pay in 3 instalments (September £200, October £200 and November £150).
Pay exam fee in December (£230) or enter yourself for the exam.
OPTION 2: £780 includes course book and exam fee
Pay in 3 instalments (September £300, October £300 and November £180).
Exam fee included with the Academy entering you for the exam.

CAE (CAMBRIDGE ADVANCED ENGLISH) C1 CERF
This course is at Advanced level.
There are exams in reading, writing, speaking, listening and use of English grammar.
This qualification is internationally recognised and accepted for entry into English speaking universities, both in the UK and abroad.
It is a full Level 2 qualification and is also useful for preparation for higher English language exams and study.

IELTS (INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM) CEFR * B1 - C2
Exam preparation for IELTS is also available for individuals who require this qualification at either general or academic level.
TRINITY SELT (SECURE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEST) CEFR * A2 - B1
Preparation for Trinity exams in speaking and listening for immigration or citizenship status in the UK.
IN-CLASS TESTING OF ALL SKILLS AREAS
Taken during your class time, testing speaking, listening,
reading, writing and grammar
You need to score 60% or above to receive a pass
with all information included on your Academy certificate
CAMBRIDGE OET (OCCUPATIONAL ENGLISH TEST) PREPARATION
Do you need to take an English test to study or work in healthcare in the UK? You will study English through relevant, real-life contexts.
