Refunds are not given for courses which have been paid for if you:
2.1 Return to your home country.
2.2 Can no longer attend due to change of job/shifts, change of address, change of childcare provision.
2.3 Decide the class is not suitable for you.
2.4 Are sick or on holiday.
2.5 Any other change in circumstances for which the Academy cannot be held responsible.
- Wherever possible the Academy will try to find a suitable alternative class. See Section 4 for Refund Policy in this instance.
3. Transfer of classes
3.1 Classes which have been paid for can be transferred for use on an alternative course.
3.2 Classes cannot be transferred to another student.
4. Refunds are not given for classes which have been paid for and transferred for use on an alternative course if:
4.1 You decide the new course is not suitable due to day, time etc.
4.2 The alternative course does not start due to insufficient enrolment.
4.3 Any other circumstances for which the Academy cannot be held responsible.
5. Refunds may be given:
5.1 Under exceptional circumstances (at the Academy’s discretion).
5.2 If a specific course does not start due to insufficient enrolment (not applicable for transferred classes).
6. Absence from class:
Your course is bought as a package and finishes on a set date.Therefore, if you are absent for classes you will automatically lose them.
6.1 Punctuality: Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of your class as late arrivals disrupt other learners. If you know you will be late for your class please let your tutor know.

3.2 Learners may report concerns to their tutor, the DSL, the Deputy DSL, or centre management. All concerns are taken seriously and acted upon promptly.
3.3 Where specialist support is needed, we will refer learners to appropriate agencies and keep them informed throughout.

If any student feels that they or another person are being treated unfairly, they should speak to a tutor or a manager who can advise or take action to help resolve the matter.

4.2 Breaches of the Policy
Breaches of this policy by students or staff will be taken extremely seriously and will be fairly and thoroughly investigated, with appropriate action being taken.
All disciplinary actions will be fair, consistent and monitored.
