Here’s KC’s story of how English helped him find a new start in the UK.

Warrington bus driver careers talkOur student KC arrived in the UK in April 2025. He quickly decided to take English classes and joined our A2+ class in September 2025. He then continued with a B1 class and says he really enjoyed his time with us.

Not only were the lessons engaging and fun, but we also arranged visits to Warrington Town Hall and the Warrington Museum & Art Gallery. During these trips, KC enjoyed talking with his classmates and listening to the tour guides.

KC told us his time here “helped me improve my English and gave me more confidence”.

At the Cheshire Language Academy, KC also attended a careers event run by Warrington’s Own Buses and heard about an opportunity to become a Warrington bus driver.

We’re delighted to report that KC applied for and got a job as a trainee bus driver. He’s just passed his bus driver test. Congratulations!!

What does KC like about his new job? He told us he really enjoys driving and loves serving people in the community, so becoming a bus driver is the perfect job for him. He’s excited to begin his new career and would recommend this job to others.

We asked KC if he would recommend studying English at the Cheshire Language Academy.

“Yes, absolutely!! Studying English has helped me communicate more confidently and has opened up new opportunities for me”.

Well done KC and best wishes from all the team at the Cheshire Language Academy. We are thrilled that your studies have led you to a great new job and wish you every success.
